Near Roswell. Alert~~~Motorists please be advised that Mesa Rest Area located off US 285 at mm 149 is Closed until further notice due to water lines and construction. This post will be updated with any changes.
Near Tejon. Roadwork~~~Bridge Rehabilitation and reconstruction on US60/285 mile post 266.500 to mile post 267.626. Kimo Construction will begin work on bridges on Monday February 21st, 2022. Traffic will be reduced to one lane each direction, expect delays, or seek alternate route. Drivers please be aware of equipment and personnel in the work zone, please follow and obey all posted signs. Please follow signs for detour, speed limit will be reduced to 45 miles per hour in the work zone, as well as a 12ft width restriction. Work is expected to be complete summer of 2023, depending on weather and other unforeseen delays.
