Near Erlanger. Work Zone Construction Activities. DONALDSON HWY. In both directions of Donaldson Pike (KY 236) between KY 842 (Houston Rd) and KY 3076 (Mineonla Pike) expect blocked lanes and delays. Watch for flaggers.

Near Fort Thomas. Work Zone Construction Activities. I-275. Eastbound reduced to two lanes on the Comb-Hehl Bridge. Expect delays.

Near Crestview Hills. Work Zone Construction Activities. I-275 NC. A bridge deck overlay project will take place beginning Sunday, May 14 at 9 p.m. Crews will begin work on the left two lanes of I-275 eastbound, allowing traffic to flow on the right two lanes. All lanes from the I-71/75 northbound ramp to I-275 eastbound will remain open. The left two lanes of I-275 eastbound following the I-71/75 northbound ramp will be closed. This traffic pattern will be in place from Sunday, May 14 to Saturday, May 20. On Saturday, May 20, crews will perform a traffic switch, allowing traffic on the left two lanes from Saturday, May 20 through Thursday, May 25. Crews will be closing the I-275 eastbound exit to Turkeyfoot Road for the entirety of the project. The project is expected to be completed by Thursday, May 25 at midnight. No lane/ramp closures will take place during Memorial Day weekend.

Near Edgewood. Work Zone Construction Activities. STEVENSON RD. Both directions expect blocked lanes and delays.

Near Kenton. Work Zone Construction Activities. HANDS PIKE. Both Directions Blocked From KY 17 (Madison Pike) to KY 3035 (Old Madison Pike). KY 3035 (Old Madison Pike) is closed to through traffic between new KY 1501 and Waymans Branch (Old KY 1501). Please use KY 17 to Waymans Branch (Old KY 1501) to KY 3035 as a detour.

Near Fort Wright. Work Zone Construction Activities. MADISON PIKE. Both directions left lane blocked from 9 am to 3 pm daily.

Near Park Hills. Work Zone Construction Activities. I-75. Northbound left two lanes blocked near the Fifth Street and 12th Street exits in Covington.

Near Claryville. Work Zone Construction Activities. ALEXANDRIA PIKE. Lane blocked at the intersection of Plum Creek Church Rd.

Near Crescent Springs. Work Zone Construction Activities. BROMLEY-CRESCENT SPRINGS RD. Both directions all lanes blocked from 8 AM to 4 PM daily. Seek alternate route.

Near Elsmere. Work Zone Construction Activities. MOUNT ZION RD. Lane blocked for roundabout construction at the intersection of Mt. Zion Rd. and Sigmon Lane.

Near White Oak until Jun 1. Install micro-conduit on S.R. 126 between I-275 and U.S. 27. Also install on I-275 between S.R. 28 and S.R. 32. (#223004)

Near Newport until Oct 31. Bridge rehabilitation project on E. McMillan Street over U.S. Route 42 (Reading Road). Contractors working for the Ohio Department of Transportation will close a lane on southbound Burnet Avenue under E. McMillan Street daily from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. while crews continue work on the bridge. Also, one lane remains closed on E. McMillan Street. The entire project calls for replacing pier pylons and lighting, repairing the substructure, replacing abutment bearings, painting structural steel, resurfacing the bridge deck and other preservation items of the McMillan Street bridge. Prus Construction Company was awarded a contract for approximately $1.63 million to complete the project, and all work is scheduled to be completed in the summer of 2024. (22-485)

Near Summerside until Sep 15, 2024. S.R. 32/Bach Buxton Project. Friday, May 19: Single- and double-lane closures on S.R. 32 East and West, between Old S.R. 74 and Elick Lane, nightly from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following day. Traffic will be maintained. On Sunday, June 4, the following traffic changes will be imparted along the S.R. 32 corridor as contractors move into the next phase of interchange construction. S.R. 32 traffic between Glen Este-Withamsville Road and Elick Lane will be shifted to the outside in each direction, with three lanes of eastbound and two lanes of westbound traffic continuing to be maintained. The new off-ramp from S.R. 32 East to Clepper Lane will be opened to traffic, and a new signal will be in operation at the end of the ramp to Clepper Lane. Access to the south leg of Glen Este-Withamsville Road from S.R. 32 will be closed permanently. Eastbound S.R. 32 traffic may use the new Clepper Lane off-ramp; westbound S.R. 32 motorists may continue traveling west to the Eastgate Boulevard interchange and follow this to either Eastgate South Drive or Aicholtz Road to Glen Este-Withamsville Road. Southbound Glen Este-Withamsville Road motorists may follow either S.R. 32 East to the Clepper Lane off-ramp or S.R. 32 West to Eastgate Boulevard. Marian Drive will reopen, and northbound traffic on Bach Buxton Road will be switched to the newly constructed roadway to Marian Drive. As part of the Eastern Corridor program, the S.R. 32/Bach Buxton interchange project will create a new, full-service diamond interchange along S.R. 32 immediately east of the existing Elick Lane intersection by realigning and extending Bach Buxton Road over S.R. 32 and connecting with Old S.R. 74 on the north side. Permanent closures have been implemented at Newberry Drive and Fayard Drive at eastbound S.R. 32, and with these local roads closed, motorists will be redirected by way of Elick Lane, Bach Buxton Road and Shayler Road. As part of the interchange project, the intersection of Elick Lane at S.R. 32 will be eliminated, and Elick Lane will be turned into a cul-de-sac. Newberry Drive (at the former Thorntons gas station) will also be closed permanently, and three traffic signals within the corridor will be eliminated. Due to safety concerns, the intersection from eastbound S.R. 32 to Fayard Drive was closed. Westbound S.R. 32 to Fayard Drive will be closed in August 2023; this is a permanent closure in which Fayard Drive will cul-de-sac at the junction with S.R. 32. Additional phases of the project will include constructing a third, westbound lane on S.R. 32, between the new interchange and Glen Este-Withamsville Road, and realigning Bach Buxton Road between Marian Drive and Clepper Lane. Newberry Drive is closed, and motorists have access to S.R. 32 by way of Marian Drive and Bach Buxton. The John R. Jurgensen Company was awarded a contract for approximately $42.5 million to undertake the project, and all work is scheduled to be complete in late fall 2024. Near Fairfax until Jun 1. Bridge rehabilitation project along U.S. Route 50 (Columbia Parkway). The entire project calls for rehabilitating two bridges located on Columbia Parkway, one over Heekin Avenue and one over the westbound ramp to Eastern Avenue, with full deck replacements, substructure repairs, structural steel painting, lighting, approach work, guardrail and railing. Triton Construction, Inc. was awarded a contract for approximately $6.7 million to complete the project, and all work is scheduled to be completed in summer of 2023. (#22-143)

Near Mount Carmel until Jul 31, 2024. State Route 32 Green-T intersection project. Contractors for the Ohio Department of Transportation are constructing a signalized Green-T intersection at S.R. 32 and Eight Mile Road near Newtown, and during the upcoming phase of work, crews will be reprofiling Eight Mile Road and widening westbound S.R. 32 at the intersection. On Wednesday, April 19, Eight Mile Road was closed at its junction with S.R. 32 for up to 200 days, and traffic will be detoured via Clough Pike, Mt. Carmel Tobasco Road and S.R. 32. As part of the Green-T project, construction includes widening a portion of S.R. 32; realigning, widening and improving the profile grade on Eight Mile; installing signals; replacing drainage; and repairing a slide repair along eastbound S.R. 32. Once completed, the Green-T intersection will provide for a free-flow of traffic for westbound S.R. 32 motorists with a continuous green light, while turning movements to and from Eight Mile Road and eastbound S.R. 32 traffic will be maintained with a signal. The John R. Jurgensen Company was awarded a contract for approximately $4.57 million to undertake the project, and all work is scheduled to be complete in the summer of 2024. (#220438)

Near New Richmond until Oct 1. A pair of culvert rehabilitations are set to begin on U.S. Route 52 and state Route 232, with construction getting under way next week. On Monday, May 15, contractors for the Ohio Department of Transportation will begin work to repair a bridge-sized culvert on U.S. 52, just north of Moscow Cemetary Road, as well as a culvert on S.R. 232 over Colclaser Run, north of Big Indian Road. Throughout construction, traffic will be maintained with the use of flaggers during hours of operation, daily from approximately 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Axis Civil Construction was awarded a contract in the amount of $453,108 to complete the project, and all work is scheduled to be completed in late October 2023. Near Ludlow until Sep 30. I-75 Resurfacing - On I-75 North and South, between the Brent Spence Bridge and Harrison Avenue. Operations are scheduled to resume Sunday, May 21, following a winter hiatus, and crews will be paving the final surface course and applying permanent pavement markings on the mainline, as well as the various ramps within the project limits. A schedule for restrictions has yet to be determined; however, all work is anticipated to be completed by late summer.
