Near Florence. Work Zone Construction Activities. US-42. Lane blocked over I-75.

Near Erlanger. Work Zone Construction Activities. DONALDSON HWY. In both directions of Donaldson Pike (KY 236) between KY 842 (Houston Rd) and KY 3076 (Mineonla Pike) expect blocked lanes and delays. Watch for flaggers.

Near Fort Thomas. Work Zone Construction Activities. I-275. Eastbound reduced to two lanes on the Comb-Hehl Bridge. Expect delays.

Near Crestview Hills. Work Zone Construction Activities. I-275 NC. A bridge deck overlay project will take place beginning Sunday, May 14 at 9 p.m. Crews will begin work on the left two lanes of I-275 eastbound, allowing traffic to flow on the right two lanes. All lanes from the I-71/75 northbound ramp to I-275 eastbound will remain open. The left two lanes of I-275 eastbound following the I-71/75 northbound ramp will be closed. This traffic pattern will be in place from Sunday, May 14 to Saturday, May 20. On Saturday, May 20, crews will perform a traffic switch, allowing traffic on the left two lanes from Saturday, May 20 through Thursday, May 25. Crews will be closing the I-275 eastbound exit to Turkeyfoot Road for the entirety of the project. The project is expected to be completed by Thursday, May 25 at midnight. No lane/ramp closures will take place during Memorial Day weekend.

Near Edgewood. Work Zone Construction Activities. STEVENSON RD. Both directions expect blocked lanes and delays.

Near Kenton. Work Zone Construction Activities. HANDS PIKE. Both Directions Blocked From KY 17 (Madison Pike) to KY 3035 (Old Madison Pike). KY 3035 (Old Madison Pike) is closed to through traffic between new KY 1501 and Waymans Branch (Old KY 1501). Please use KY 17 to Waymans Branch (Old KY 1501) to KY 3035 as a detour.

Near Union. Work Zone Construction Activities. I-75 NC. Both directions expect blocked lanes and delays from 9 PM to 5 AM, between Mt Zion Rd/KY 536 and I71/i-75 Split at Walton.

Near Oakbrook. Work Zone Construction Activities. BURLINGTON PIKE. Both directions reduced to one lane between Ridge Rd. and KY 842 (Houston Rd) from 6 pm to 6 am nightly. Expect delays.

Near Crescent Springs. Work Zone Construction Activities. BROMLEY-CRESCENT SPRINGS RD. Both directions all lanes blocked from 8 AM to 4 PM daily. Seek alternate route.

Near Elsmere. Work Zone Construction Activities. MOUNT ZION RD. Lane blocked for roundabout construction at the intersection of Mt. Zion Rd. and Sigmon Lane.

Near White Oak until Jun 1. Install micro-conduit on S.R. 126 between I-275 and U.S. 27. Also install on I-275 between S.R. 28 and S.R. 32. (#223004)

Near Newport until Oct 31. Bridge rehabilitation project on E. McMillan Street over U.S. Route 42 (Reading Road). Contractors working for the Ohio Department of Transportation will close a lane on southbound Burnet Avenue under E. McMillan Street daily from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. while crews continue work on the bridge. Also, one lane remains closed on E. McMillan Street. The entire project calls for replacing pier pylons and lighting, repairing the substructure, replacing abutment bearings, painting structural steel, resurfacing the bridge deck and other preservation items of the McMillan Street bridge. Prus Construction Company was awarded a contract for approximately $1.63 million to complete the project, and all work is scheduled to be completed in the summer of 2024. (22-485)

Near Fairfax until Jun 1. Bridge rehabilitation project along U.S. Route 50 (Columbia Parkway). The entire project calls for rehabilitating two bridges located on Columbia Parkway, one over Heekin Avenue and one over the westbound ramp to Eastern Avenue, with full deck replacements, substructure repairs, structural steel painting, lighting, approach work, guardrail and railing. Triton Construction, Inc. was awarded a contract for approximately $6.7 million to complete the project, and all work is scheduled to be completed in summer of 2023. (#22-143)

Near Ludlow until Sep 30. I-75 Resurfacing - On I-75 North and South, between the Brent Spence Bridge and Harrison Avenue. Operations are scheduled to resume Sunday, May 21, following a winter hiatus, and crews will be paving the final surface course and applying permanent pavement markings on the mainline, as well as the various ramps within the project limits. A schedule for restrictions has yet to be determined; however, all work is anticipated to be completed by late summer.

Near Delhi Hills until Oct 31. The Cincinnati Department of Transportation & Engineering (DOTE) has begun a $5 million street rehabilitation project extending nearly four miles along River Road/U.S. 50 between Anderson Ferry Road in Delhi to Dart Street in Sayler Park. Crews this week are on site marking locations that need full-depth base repairs. Excavation is expected to begin next week. Crews will work in the opposite travel lanes as rush hour traffic ¿ heading westbound away from Downtown before 9 a.m. and eastbound after 9 a.m. All work will wrap up by 4 p.m. daily. Through traffic will continue to be allowed during the eight-month project, though motorists should expect intermittent delays, depending on the work being performed. Message boards are posted at both ends of the work zone to alert motorists of upcoming construction activity. Motorists are asked to slow down and pass through the area with caution. The project is scheduled to be completed by Oct. 31. The contractor is Cincinnati-based John R. Jurgensen Co. The $5 million project is funded with a combination of city capital and a Southwest Ohio Regional Transit Authority (SORTA) transportation infrastructure grant.
