Hamilton until Friday. Culvert replacement on S.R. 128 requires closing the route for five days beginning next week.
Beginning Monday, June 5, crews from the Ohio Department of Transportation's Butler County maintenance facility will close S.R. 128, south of Smith Road and Red Bud Lane in the city of Hamilton, to replace the culvert at the 7.05-mile marker.
The closure will be in effect until Friday, June 9, and during closure traffic will be detoured via U.S. 27 and New London Road.

Newport until Oct 31. Bridge rehabilitation project on E. McMillan Street over U.S. Route 42 (Reading Road).
On Monday, June 12, the right two lanes on McMillan Street, between Symmes Street and the on-ramp to I-71 North, will be closed from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Lane restrictions may also be in effect on Burnet Avenue at the overpass.
Contractors working for the Ohio Department of Transportation will close a lane on southbound Burnet Avenue under E. McMillan Street daily from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. while crews continue work on the bridge. Also, one lane remains closed on E. McMillan Street.
The entire project calls for replacing pier pylons and lighting, repairing the substructure, replacing abutment bearings, painting structural steel, resurfacing the bridge deck and other preservation items of the McMillan Street bridge.
Prus Construction Company was awarded a contract for approximately $1.63 million to complete the project, and all work is scheduled to be completed in the summer of 2024.

Along with a new bridge over Fields-Ertel, the total project includes construction of an entrance ramp from Mason-Montgomery Road to I-71 South; a new southbound turn lane on Mason-Montgomery from Escort Drive to the ramp; and an entrance taper on I-71 South, between the Fields-Ertel Road bridge and the existing ramp from Fields-Ertel.
The Eagle Bridge Company was awarded a contract for approximately $4.7 million to undertake the project, and all work is scheduled to be completed by early summer of 2023.

Wetherington until Jun 30. Butler County Engineers Office - reconfigure the interchange of S.R. 129 at Liberty Way and I-75.
While construction continues into 2023, the interchange modification is fully operational. Eastbound S.R. 129 traffic will use the Cincinnati-Dayton Road exit or the Cox Road roundabout to access Liberty Way, and the S.R. 129 exit to Liberty Way is permanently closed.
Existing ramp connections will also be reconfigured along with the construction of a new bridge. Additional ramp paving has been included in this project.
Sunesis Construction was awarded the contract for $24,516,510 to perform the S.R. 129/Liberty Way/I-75 Interchange Modification project. The project is tentatively scheduled to be completed in summer of 2023.

Sharonville until Jul 31. Safety and interchange improvement project on U.S. Route 42 (Lebanon Road) at Interstate 275 in Sharonville.
Hauck Road is now one-way eastbound from Reading Road to U.S. 42; westbound remains closed.
The project, which began last year, has been rolled out in two parts, with Part 1 calling for he addition of a dedicated right thru-lane on southbound U.S. 42 at Hauck Road and ramp improvements at the I-275 interchange.
Part 2 includes widening Hauck Road to three lanes to add a center, two-way, left-turn lane, as well as curb and gutter installation; culvert replacement; railroad crossing improvements; storm sewer system replacement; and sidewalk construction on the north side of Hauck Road.
Complete General Construction Co. was awarded a contract for approximately $8.9 million to complete the project, and all work is scheduled to be completed in the summer of 2023.

The total project will reconfigure the I-75 South connection to I-74 East and perform additional improvements to the eastbound I-74 connections to I-75. During the initial phase of construction roadway, drainage and lighting improvements will be made on Borden Place, Powers Street, King Place, Elmore Street and Prang Street adjacent to I-74.
As part of this phase of construction, the following changes will be implemented:
Borden Pl. will be converted to a cul-de-sac.
Powers St. will be eliminated between Borden Pl. and King Pl.
The intersection of Powers St. and King Pl. will be reconfigured.
Powers St. will be extended to tie into Colerain Ave.
Prang St. will be relocated to the east.
The Great Lakes Construction Company was awarded the $85 million contract, and all work is scheduled to be complete by late summer 2025.

Beckett Ridge until Aug 11. The Butler County Engineer's Office reports that Tylersville Road and Beckett Road will close at the intersection for roundabout construction beginning Tuesday, May 30. The roads will be closed to all through traffic; however, local traffic will still have access up to the construction zone.
In addition, at the start of construction, a temporary road will be installed east of the Lakota West Freshman Campus as an entrance for staff and summer activities.
With the lowest bid of $1.87 million, W.G. Stang, LLC was awarded the ten-week project, including sidewalk reconstruction, lighting, a rapid flashing beacon installation, and storm sewer improvements. Motorists may experience delays before the road closure as the contractor will begin water main work under traffic. Funded by West Chester Township TIF and Butler County Water & Sewer, the roundabout project is tentatively scheduled for completion on August 11, before students return to school.
Beckett Road Detour: Southbound Beckett Road traffic will detour south on S.R. 747 and east on Smith Road.
Tylersville Road Detour: Eastbound Tylersville Road traffic will detour north on S.R. 747, east on Hamilton Mason Road, and south on Lesourdsville West Chester Road. Westbound traffic will reverse this route.

Paving operations on the Interstate 74/I-275 resurfacing project requires an overnight ramp closure tonight.
On Friday, June 2, the ramp from Kilby Road to northbound I-275 will be closed between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. Saturday, June 3. During closure, traffic can use U.S. 50 and S.R. 128 to I-74 or Kilby Road to I-74.
The project includes pavement repairs and resurfacing I-74 from the Dry Fork Road interchange to just west of the Hamilton/Cleves Road interchange, as well as I-275, between its junction with I-74 and the Kilby Road interchange. The project also includes minor bridge work at structures on I-74.
Contractors for the Ohio Department of Transportation will impart single-lane closures on I-74, and traffic will be maintained in one lane on weekdays, Monday through Friday, from 8 p.m. each night to 6 a.m. the following day. Restrictions may also be in effect on Saturdays and Sundays, each night between 6 p.m. and 10 a.m.
Operations will move to I-275 following pavement repairs and bridge work on I-74, and paving work on either route will likely begin in early June.
The John R. Jurgensen Company was awarded a contract for approximately $7.99 million to complete the project, and all work is scheduled to be completed in October of 2023.
