Near SeaTac. Expect nightly lane and ramp closures on northbound I-5 between SR 516 and S. 188th Street for road construction work. Sunday through Thursday nights, ramps begin closing as early as 7 p.m. and lanes at 8 p.m. All lanes and ramps will be open by 4:30 a.m. on weekdays. On Saturday nights, lanes and ramps may begin closing as early as 6:30 p.m. Lanes will reopen by 9 a.m. on Sunday and ramps by 10:30 a.m.

Near Seattle. Until further notice – The I-5 Express Lanes will be reduced from four to three lanes between the Ship Canal Bridge and Mercer Street as crews create a work zone for the SR 520/I-5 Express Lanes Connection Project.

Near DesMoines. One lane of westbound and eastbound SR 516 near I-5 may be closed nightly for construction work. Sunday nights through Friday mornings, lanes may be closed from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. On Saturday nights, lanes may be closed from 7:30 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. At least one lane in each direction remains open for travel.

Near Fife. Expect nighttime northbound I-5 ramp and lane closures near the Fife curve for construction of the SR 167/I-5 to SR 509 New Expressway project. Closures begin as early as 7 p.m. with detours provided for ramp closures. Sunday through Friday, all lanes and ramps reopen by 4:30 a.m. All lanes and ramps must be open by 10 a.m. on Saturdays and 11 a.m. on Sundays.

Near Fife Heights. Temporary speed reduction. Until further notice, the speed limit on I-5 in Fife is 50 mph between 54th Street and Porter Way. The speed reduction is for construction of new bridges on I-5 as part of the SR 167/I-5 to SR 509 New Expressway project.

Near Purdy until Aug 25. The two westbound lanes of SR 16 are shifted towards the median. The speed limit is reduced to 45 mph between milepost 17.15 and milepost 18. The work zone and reduced speed limit will be in place for up to a year. Travelers will see overnight single-lane closures on westbound SR 16 weeknights from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. Lane closures on eastbound SR 16 are allowed weeknights from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m.
