Strongsville Road Conditions

Near North Ridgeville until Jul 31. U.S. 20 from the western corporation limits of North Ridgeville to Greenlawn Drive, and from McKinely Street to the county line, will have lane closures for a paving project. Traffic will be maintained by flaggers.

Near Medina until Jun 30, 2024. State Route 18, from just west of Alber Drive to Nettleton Road, will have single lane closures as crews widen and reconstruct the roadway. Crews continue resurfacing work and driveway removal and replacements along the southside of SR 18. Crews are working on the permanent signals throughout the project limits and the pedestrian bridge over the Rocky River. Left turns movements, between Nettleton Road and the new Frontage Roads, will be restricted with the installation of the concrete median. Traffic will be directed to use the legal U-turns at Nettleton Road and Frontage Road to reach businesses in this area. The traffic configuration on SR 18 will have a minimum of one lane in each direction with turn lanes at intersections.

Near Middleburg Heights until Wednesday. Whitney Rd. over I-71 will be reduced to one lane maintained by a temporary signal through Spring 2023.

Near Parma Heights until Jun 30. I-480 westbound to W.130th St. will be closed on Thursday, April 13, through late June for bridge repairs.

Near Brunswick until Jun 30. U.S. 42 (Pearl Road) in the city of Brunswick, from Sleepy Hollow Road to Boston Road, will have lane closures for a minor rehabilitation project. The project includes the complete resurfacing and full depth repairs of U.S. 42, along with curb and sidewalk work.

Near Cleveland until Aug 31. Center St. bridge over the Cuyahoga River between Merwin Ave. and Riverbed St. will be closed through summer 2023, for bridge rehabilitation.

Near Lakewood until Wednesday. I-90 westbound to Hillard Rd. will have various lane restrictions beginning on Monday, February 27, through late May.

Near Fairview Park until Oct 15. I-480 eastbound and westbound between I-71 and SR 237 has various lane restrictions and traffic shifts through fall 2023 for interchange improvements.

Near Brook Park until Jul 31. I-71 between I-480 and U.S. 42 (Pearl Rd.) will have various lane restrictions through summer 2023 for median wall repair.

Near Bay Village until Aug 31. The intersection of Wolf Rd. and Cahoon Rd. in Bay Village will have various lane restrictions maintained by flaggers beginning on Monday, May 1, through August for intersections improvements.

Near Avon Lake until Sep 29. U.S. 6, through the city of Avon Lake, will have single lane closures as needed for pavement resurfacing. Traffic will be maintained.

Near Richfield until Sep 30. I-77 between Miller Rd. and SR 21 has various lane restrictions and traffic pattern shifts for interchange improvements through November 2024 both directions

Near Newburgh Heights until Wednesday. Beginning on Thursday, October 28, E. 75th St. over the Norfolk Southern/ GCRTA railroad in Cleveland will be closed through late May for bridge replacement.

Near Seven Hills until Oct 15. I-77 northbound entrance and exit ramps to Rockside Rd. has various lane restrictions through late October for interchange improvements. between 12:00 AM and 11:59 PM

Near Independence until Jun 30. •SR 21 (Brecksville Rd.) over I-480 has various lane restrictions through June for bridge work. •I-480 under SR 21 (Brecksville Rd.) will have various nightly and daily lane restrictions through June 2023. both directions between 12:00 AM and 11:59 PM

Near Brooklyn Heights until Jun 30. U.S. 42 (Pearl Rd.) over the Railroad near Wildlife Way beginning on Monday, February 6, will be reduced to one lane in each direction through late June for bridge repairs.
