Near White Oak until Jun 1. Install micro-conduit on S.R. 126 between I-275 and U.S. 27. Also install on I-275 between S.R. 28 and S.R. 32. (#223004)
Near Wetherington until May 31. Butler County Engineers Office - reconfigure the interchange of S.R. 129 at Liberty Way and I-75. While construction continues into 2023, the interchange modification is fully operational. Eastbound S.R. 129 traffic will use the Cincinnati-Dayton Road exit or the Cox Road roundabout to access Liberty Way, and the S.R. 129 exit to Liberty Way is permanently closed. Existing ramp connections will also be reconfigured along with the construction of a new bridge. Additional ramp paving has been included in this project. Sunesis Construction was awarded the contract for $24,516,510 to perform the S.R. 129/Liberty Way/I-75 Interchange Modification project. The project is tentatively scheduled to be completed in May 2023.
Near Fairfax until Jun 1. Bridge rehabilitation project along U.S. Route 50 (Columbia Parkway). A daily ramp closure is in place on U.S. 50 (Columbia Parkway) at Eastern Avenue as part of an ongoing bridge rehabilitation project. The ramp from U.S. 50 West to Eastern Avenue is closed daily from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. through Friday, March 3, while contractors working for the Ohio Department of Transportation remove the existing deck on the eastbound U.S. 50 bridge over the ramp. During periods of closure, traffic will be detoured via Wooster Pike, Beechmont Circle, Wilmer Avenue and U.S. 52 (Kellogg Avenue). Also, short-term full closures will be in place on U.S. 50 West between the Beechmont Avenue/S.R.125 exit and the U.S. 50 on-ramp from Eastern Avenue between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m. the following day on Sunday night, February 19 and Monday night, February 20. Traffic will be maintained with law enforcement officers. The entire project calls for rehabilitating two bridges located on Columbia Parkway, one over Heekin Avenue and one over the westbound ramp to Eastern Avenue, with full deck replacements, substructure repairs, structural steel painting, lighting, approach work, guardrail and railing. Triton Construction, Inc. was awarded a contract for approximately $6.7 million to complete the project, and all work is scheduled to be completed in summer of 2023. (#22-143)
Near Hamilton until Sep 1, 2025. Phase 5B of the I-75/I-74 Mill Creek Expressway. Tuesday, March 28: The I-74 West thru lane will be closed between the Colerain Avenue/Beekman Street exit (Exit 18) to the bridge over southbound Beekman Street from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. Wednesday. The exit and westbound contraflow lane will remain open.) Single-lane closure on I-75 South, between Mitchell Avenue and the I-74 interchange, beginning at 8 p.m., followed by a double-lane closure at 9 p.m. All restrictions will be lifted by 6 a.m. Wednesday. Single-lane closure on I-75 North, between I-74 and Mitchell Avenue, from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. Wednesday. Intermittent, short-term (15-minute) full closure of I-75 South between Mitchell and I-74, from midnight to 4 a.m. Wednesday. Wednesday, March 29: Single-lane closure on the ramp from I-74 East to I-75 South, from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. Thursday. Single-lane closure on I-75 North, between Monmouth Street and I-74, from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. Thursday. Thursday, March 30: Single-lane closure on I-75 North, between Monmouth Street and I-74, from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. Friday. Saturday, April 1: The ramp from I-74 West to Colerain Avenue/Beekman Street (Exit 18) will be closed from 8 p.m. to 12 p.m. (noon) Sunday, April 2. Motorists may detour by way of the Montana Avenue interchange and I-74 East. The total project will reconfigure the I-75 South connection to I-74 East and perform additional improvements to the eastbound I-74 connections to I-75. During the initial phase of construction roadway, drainage and lighting improvements will be made on Borden Place, Powers Street, King Place, Elmore Street and Prang Street adjacent to I-74. As part of this phase of construction, the following changes will be implemented: Borden Pl. will be converted to a cul-de-sac. Powers St. will be eliminated between Borden Pl. and King Pl. The intersection of Powers St. and King Pl. will be reconfigured. Powers St. will be extended to tie into Colerain Ave. Prang St. will be relocated to the east. The Great Lakes Construction Company was awarded the $85 million contract, and all work is scheduled to be complete by late summer 2025. (203000)
Near Springdale until Mar 31. Pavement repair and paving project on Interstate 275 between east of Winton Road and just west of the I-75 interchange. The John R. Jurgensen Company was awarded a contract for $2.9 million to complete the project, and all work is scheduled to be completed in the spring of 2023. (#21-128)
Near Sixteen Mile Stand until Jun 1. Fields-Ertel Road interchange expansion project at Mason-Montgomery Road and southbound Interstate 71 in Warren County. The new ramp from Mason-Montgomery Road to southbound I-71 is open to traffic. Along with a new bridge over Fields-Ertel, the total project includes construction of an entrance ramp from Mason-Montgomery Road to I-71 South; a new southbound turn lane on Mason-Montgomery from Escort Drive to the ramp; and an entrance taper on I-71 South, between the Fields-Ertel Road bridge and the existing ramp from Fields-Ertel. The Eagle Bridge Company was awarded a contract for approximately $4.7 million to undertake the project, and all work is scheduled to be completed by late spring of 2023. (#21-301)

Beginning at 8 p.m. Monday, March 27, the left lane will be closed on I-75 South at Sharon Road until 6 a.m. Tuesday, March 28. Then, at 10 p.m., the ramp from I-75 South to Sharon Road will be closed until 5 a.m. Tuesday. In addition, short-term full closures will be in place on I-75 South at Sharon Road between midnight and 4 a.m. Tuesday. Traffic will be maintained with law enforcement officers. All work will be contingent upon the weather, and motorists are reminded of the need for additional caution through the work zone. (#21--43)

Near Montgomery until Oct 31. Bridge rehabilitation of Cooper Road and Snider Road over Interstate 71. A pair of bridge rehabilitation projects over Interstate 71 in Hamilton County is scheduled to begin in the coming weeks, with construction to start on Cooper Road in Montgomery. Contractors for the Ohio Department of Transportation will be repairing the overpass structures on Cooper and Snider roads by replacing the concrete parapets and vandal fencing and conducting other, minor bridge work. Beginning Wednesday, March 1, Cooper Road will be closed for up to 70 days, and motorists will be detoured by way of Montgomery Road, S.R. 126/Ronald Reagan Cross County Highway or Pfeiffer Road and Kenwood Road. The closure and detour have been coordinated with the cities of Blue Ash and Montgomery, as well as Sycamore Community Schools in order to accommodate construction at Sycamore Junior High School during the summer months. Pedestrians and bikes can cross I-71 using the Zig Zag Road bridge, located 0.9 miles north of Cooper Road. In addition to the Cooper Road bridge, crews will be rehabilitating the overpass on Snider Road, north of the I-71/I-275 interchange. Snider Road will also be subject to closure; however, a date to close the route has yet to be determined. The Eagle Bridge Company was awarded a contract for approximately $3.5 million to rehabilitate both bridges, and all work is scheduled to be completed in late October. (#22-606)
Near Sharonville until May 4. Safety and interchange improvement project on U.S. Route 42 (Lebanon Road) at Interstate 275 in Sharonville. Hauck Road is now one-way eastbound from Reading Road to U.S. 42; westbound remains closed. The project, which began last year, has been rolled out in two parts, with Part 1 calling for he addition of a dedicated right thru-lane on southbound U.S. 42 at Hauck Road and ramp improvements at the I-275 interchange. Part 2 includes widening Hauck Road to three lanes to add a center, two-way, left-turn lane, as well as curb and gutter installation; culvert replacement; railroad crossing improvements; storm sewer system replacement; and sidewalk construction on the north side of Hauck Road. Complete General Construction Co. was awarded a contract for approximately $8.9 million to complete the project, and all work is scheduled to be completed in the spring of 2023. 341(21)
