In preparation for bridge work, contractors for the Ohio Department of Transportation will be constructing median crossovers, which will require lane and shoulder closures during construction.
Beginning Monday, August 8, the right lane and shoulder of eastbound Columbia Parkway will be closed from the Beechmont Avenue to the Red Bank Road interchanges between 6 a.m. and 4 p.m. daily through Monday, August 15. Then, on August 15, the left lane will be closed in each direction from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily through Wednesday, September 7.
The entire project calls for rehabilitating two bridges located on Columbia Parkway, one over Heekin Avenue and one over the westbound ramp to Eastern Avenue, with full deck replacements, substructure repairs, structural steel painting, lighting, approach work, guardrail and railing.
Triton Construction, Inc. was awarded a contract for approximately $6.7 million to complete the project, and all work is scheduled to be completed in summer of 2023.

Wetherington until Nov 30. Butler County Engineers Office - reconfigure the interchange of S.R. 129 at Liberty Way and I-75. The two-season project involves the extension of S.R. 129 east to a roundabout at Cox Road, north of Liberty Way.
The overnight ramp closure from northbound I-75 to westbound S.R. 129, initially scheduled for last weekend, will now occur on Wednesday, July 27, weather permitting. The contractor will install work zone pavement markers and portable concrete barriers from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.
Existing ramp connections will also be reconfigured along with the construction of a new bridge. Additional ramp paving has been included in this project.
Crews will start on the west side of the roundabout installation on Cox Road, which will remain open to The Christ Hospital. Bridge and westbound S.R. 129 and northbound I-75 on-ramp work will also occur in that vicinity with minimal construction on S.R. 129 itself. Traffic will be maintained for most of the construction period, especially in the early phases.
Sunesis Construction, which submitted the low bid of $24,516,510, will perform the S.R. 129/Liberty Way/I-75 Interchange Modification project. The project is tentatively scheduled to be completed in November 2022.

The Kokosing Construction Company was awarded a contract for approximately $7.9 million to construct a new segment of the Little Miami Scenic Trail under the existing S.R. 32/Beechmont Avenue interchange and across the Little Miami River (LMR), and all work is scheduled to be completed by late summer.

Restrictions will be in place on Fields-Ertel Road next week as part of the interchange expansion project at Mason-Montgomery Road and southbound Interstate 71 in Warren County.
Beginning at 7 p.m. Sunday, August 14, evening and overnight lane closures will be in place on Fields-Ertel Road under I-71. Contractors will start lane closures on the eastbound right lane, and work their way across the road as work is completed.
The closures will be in place each night through Saturday morning, August 20, and all restrictions will be lifted by 6 a.m. the following day. Traffic will be maintained through the work zone.
Along with a new bridge over Fields-Ertel, the total project includes construction of an entrance ramp from Mason-Montgomery Road to I-71 South; a new southbound turn lane on Mason-Montgomery from Escort Drive to the ramp; and an entrance taper on I-71 South, between the Fields-Ertel Road bridge and the existing ramp from Fields-Ertel.
The Eagle Bridge Company was awarded a contract for approximately $4.7 million to undertake the project, and all work is scheduled to be completed by late spring of 2023.

Beginning Wednesday, July 13, contractors for the Ohio Department of Transportation will impart single-lane closures on S.R. 126 for pavement repairs, and traffic will be maintained by flaggers from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily during the initial phase of construction.
The project extends from just west of Loveland Madeira Road near Indian Hill to Shawnee Run Road at Milford, and along with resurfacing, it includes pavement repairs, curb ramp upgrades, and guardrail replacement.
Barrett Paving Materials, Inc. was awarded a contract for $1.8 million to complete the project, and throughout construction, traffic will be maintained by flaggers. All work is scheduled to be completed by late fall of 2022.
