Oakwood (Ohio) Road Conditions

Near Riverside until Oct 14. Expect lane closures in each direction of Woodman Drive between Kolmar Ave. and Burkhardt Rd. from March 27th to October 14th. One lane of traffic will be maintained in each direction. Crews will be reconfiguring the interchange and rehabilitating a bridge.

Near Beavercreek until Oct 31, 2025. U.S. 35-Valley/Trebein project. Construction of an interchange at the routes intersection between Xenia and Beavercreek. The project includes upgrading 1.28 miles of U.S. 35 to a limited-access facility, bridge construction, retaining wall construction, and upgrades to Valley and Trebein roads at the intersection. As part of a several corridor improvements and a greater thoroughfare plan in Greene County, the project was initiated to ease congestion, enhance traffic flow, and improve safety along the corridor between Xenia and Beavercreek. Since its inception in 2007 and with the assistance of the Greene County Engineer¿s Office, it has progressed through the various stages of development that have included feasibility and environmental studies, engineering, detailed design, environmental, and right of way acquisition. Construction will get under way this week, with contractors for the Ohio Department of Transportation imparting lane restrictions to place portable concrete barrier and close the shoulders of U.S. 35 at the intersection. Throughout the project, traffic will be maintained on U.S. 35; however, lane restrictions will be in effect in either direction, and intermittent, short-term periods closure may also be in effect. Turning movements to Valley and Trebein roads will also be restricted, and both routes will be subject to closure during various phases of construction. The $40.1 million construction project is being funded primarily through the Transportation Review Advisory Council (TRAC). Along with state and federal funds, local funding commitments from Greene County and Beavercreek Township have totaled 20 percent of the project cost. The Eagle Bridge Company was awarded a contract in January to build the interchange and complete other roadway improvements, and all work is scheduled to be completed in October 2025. (#230001)

Near Moraine until Jul 31, 2026. I-75 reconstruction between S.R. 725 and U.S. 35. Expect traffic pattern shift, ramp closures, and lane restrictions in each direction. There may be nightly lane closures between 7 p.m. and 7 a.m. in each direction.

Near Waynesville until Jul 30. Rehab. bridge on S.R. 380 over Buck Run. (#22-569)
